Job Description
- Provide practical corporate legal advice to support business decisions and day-to-day activity.
- Review and draft corporate documents to help maintain clear and accurate records.
- Work with colleagues across the business to understand legal requirements and provide timely guidance.
- Support corporate transactions and related documentation through the agreed legal process.
- Identify legal considerations in proposed business activity and explain them in clear terms.
- Manage legal documents and information to ensure they are organised and accessible.
- Coordinate with external legal advisers where required to progress corporate matters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Counsel should have:
- Experience providing corporate legal advice in a commercial setting.
- Ability to draft, review and negotiate corporate legal documentation.
- Knowledge of corporate transactions and associated legal processes.
- Ability to explain legal issues clearly to non-legal colleagues.
- Experience working with a range of internal stakeholders on legal matters.
- Strong document management skills and attention to detail.
What's on Offer
- Salary of £140,000 to £180,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Based in Oxfordshire.
