About Our Client
Our client is in the engineering and manufacturing industry, and has a medium sized, friendly finance team who all work together to support each other. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop.
Job Description
- Looking after the purchase ledger, matching and coding invoices
- Raising POs
- Looking after the cashbook, reconciliations
- Sales ledger duties, raising sales invoices, producing credit notes, setting up new accounts and credit limits
- Financial reporting
- Any other ad hoc duties
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
