Job Description
- Overall purpose is to engage proactively across all departments within the business to ensure the consistent and effective operations processes are implemented.
- Ensure effective coordination between customers, suppliers, drivers, engineers, and internal teams.
- Act as a key point of contact to resolve operational issues and challenges quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all parties are informed of requirements, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Oversee servicing, inspections, maintenance, and compliance of all machinery.
- Ensure servicing schedules are planned, monitored, and adhered to.
- Identify and address risks related to equipment availability, safety, or downtime.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support customer queries, issues, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and contractual requirements.
- Identify errors, inefficiencies, or weaknesses in existing processes.
- Investigate root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and introduce improvements to systems, workflows, and communication methods.
- Support the implementation of new processes, tools, or ways of working.
- Ensure clear communication across teams so everyone understands what is required and when.
- Monitor workloads, schedules, and priorities to avoid conflicts or delays.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Support Lead should have:
- Previous experience in a project support or administrative role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools, SAP and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
