Job Description
Working as a brand ambassador and salesperson for a range of products. Initially the primary focus will be to present and sell these SKUs in retail, convenience and impulse. The role will require the individual to work in conjunction with the distributor to establish route to market and costings based on the end user demand. You'll engage with the Buyers to unlock consumer demand in high protein cured meats across core categories; food to go, chilled and snacking. Explore concept to shelf opportunities in line with the retailer and supplier agenda.
The Successful Applicant
- Advantageous to have worked for an entrepreneurial start-up brand, SME or challenger environment, used to selling in a new concept to established categories.
- The ideal candidate will have an already developed network of contacts across the desired customer base as well as experience in selling in new branded concepts to these markets.
- Understanding of the brand and private label sales model.
- Proven experience in sales, particularly within the FMCG sector.
- A strong understanding of the grocery market and its dynamics.
- The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
