Job Description:
- Define and lead the marketing strategy with a clear focus on lead generation, conversion, and brand growth.
- Drive performance across all channels; SEO, PPC, social, email, portals, webinars, and more.
- Lead and inspire the marketing team, setting KPIs, coaching, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to align objectives and support conversion.
- Manage the marketing budget to maximise ROI and ensure cost efficiency.
- Champion brand positioning and creative direction, ensuring consistency and impact.
- Report on lead generation and campaign performance to the Board/C-Suite.
- Introduce innovation and new technologies to strengthen marketing effectiveness.
The Successful Applicant:
The ideal Marketing Director candidate will be a strategic marketing leader with a proven track record of driving B2C lead generation at scale. You will combine commercial acumen with creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of digital channels to deliver measurable growth and shape the marketing vision at board level.
What you will bring:
- Director-level experience leading marketing strategy with a clear focus on lead generation and conversion.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and performance optimisation.
- Success in managing large budgets and delivering strong ROI.
- Commercial awareness and insight into market dynamics and customer behaviour.
- Expertise in marketing best practices, compliance, and legal frameworks (GDPR).
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Pipedrive, HubSpot, or similar.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and coaching high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, exceptional written English, and a keen eye for brand aesthetics.
- Experience in investment or financial products is an advantage but not essential.
Location & Commitment:
Based in North West England and comfortable working 3-4 days per week at HQ.
