About Our Client

Our client is in the Non-Profit/Charity sector in the UK and is looking to grow their team with their first Solution Architect. You will be joining a newly formed Architecture Team and work closely with the Head of Enterprise Architecture, Data Architect and Business Architect. This role is 100% remote working within the UK.

Job Description

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient technology solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during project implementation.
  • Ensure architecture aligns with industry standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance.
  • Support the integration of new systems and applications into the existing technology landscape.
  • Identify and address potential technical risks and challenges proactively.
  • Document architectural solutions and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

The Successful Applicant

Must haves:
  • Solution Architect experience
  • Worked across different areas including Data, Software, Infrastructure, Security
  • Ability to work across multiple projects
  • Strong stakeholder skills
Nice to haves:
  • Certification in Architecture (TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Worked in the charity or non-profit sector
