Our client is an award-winning law firm with offices in Manchester. Their real estate work comprises over 50% of the business, so you will be working with some fantastic clients and great quality work. Due to securing another client, they are looking for a Real Estates Disputes Solicitor/Associate to join their team.
Job Description
- Advising on landlord and tenant disputes (lease renewals, dilapidations, forfeiture)
- Handling development-related issues (rights of light, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes)
- Managing possession claims and trespass actions
- Supporting property insolvency and enforcement work
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to counsel
- Attending court hearings, mediations, and client meetings
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Supporting senior colleagues on complex litigation and ADR matters
- Contributing to team training, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior team members
- Getting involved in marketing and business development initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Real Estate Disputes Solicitor/Associate should have between 2-5 years PQE in real estate disputes. Please note the level of experience identified in the advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
