About Our Client
This is a retail business based in Manchester city centre. They are committed to maintaining high standards in financial management and reporting to support their business growth. The business operates flexibly and requires 2 days a week in the office with up to 3 days a week working from home. They will look at a broad range of candidates from newly qualified accountants making their first move into industry to people at a more senior level looking to progress their career in a growing organisation.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors.
- Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and tools.
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:
- Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
