Job Description

As Assistant Category Manager, duties will include, however, not be limited to:

  • Own your categories end-to-end, leading stakeholder and supplier engagement, planning, sourcing, and supplier management.
  • Analyse financial, supplier, and market data to identify trends and deliver commercial benefits.
  • Execute sourcing activity in line with the category plan, including tendering, analysis, selection, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Support sourcing projects across the wider category.
  • Facilitate key supplier meetings and governance.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to support category decisions.
  • Contribute to achieving the overall goals of the procurement and supply chain team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Category Manager should have:
