Job Description Lead the commercial management of multiple social housing contracts across the West Midlands. Manage and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors. Ensure robust cost control, budgeting and financial reporting across projects. Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor management. Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks. Maximise contract profitability through effective change control and value management. Prepare and review valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, operational teams and supply chain partners. Support senior leadership with commercial strategy and business planning. Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to company procedures. The Successful Applicant Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor within the social housing, refurbishment, planned maintenance or retrofit sectors. Strong understanding of commercial management principles and contract administration. Experience leading and developing commercial teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership skills. Strong knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting and risk management. Commercially astute with a track record of delivering profitable outcomes. Full UK driving licence.
