Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on a variety of policy issues across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
  • Respond to changes in the policy landscape in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government departments, civil servants, and other charities to influence policy change.
  • Conduct research and produce reports with recommendations on key policy issues.
  • Prepare briefings and reports for senior staff and colleagues.
  • Represent the charity in public events, consultations and seminars.

The Successful Applicant:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in policy research, analysis, and influencing change.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and a willingness to help other teams when required.
