Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Advise partners and staff on risk, compliance, ethics, data protection and conflict matters.
- Lead and manage risk and compliance projects and advise on new business initiatives.
- Analyse risk data to identify process gaps and drive improvements.
- Draft and update policies, precedents, communications and deliver targeted compliance training.
- Escalate high-risk issues, monitor regulatory changes, and coach junior team members.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate would have:
- Experience in a similar risk and compliance role within a law firm.
- Ambitious, motivated, and eager to learn and develop.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills, with excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, proactive and collaborative in managing workload.
- Management experience is desirable, but not essential.
