Job Description
- Professional Development and Mentorship: Promote a culture of continuous learning by designing and delivering tailored training programmes, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Provide strategic mentorship and guidance to lawyers at all levels, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Deliver and/or coordinate sessions on legal developments, procedural updates, and best practices. Offer individual coaching and support on complex legal matters and career development. Work with practice group leaders to identify training needs and create bespoke programmes.
- Knowledge Management Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy aligned with the organisation's priorities. Leverage technology and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration. Create cutting-edge resources, including AI tools, legal databases, and industry insights, to keep lawyers ahead of market trends.
- Precedent and Template Documents: Review, update, and maintain the precedent bank. Develop a suite of standardised, high-quality precedent documents for key workstreams and embed them into workflows.
- Document Automation and AI Integration: Lead the assessment and implementation of document automation and AI technologies to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks. Collaborate with technology partners and internal teams to customise solutions that meet organisational and client needs.
- Strategic Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities in the real estate transactional market. Provide actionable insights to inform strategy and client engagement. Advise senior leadership on future legal developments and market implications.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a strong track record in commercial law.
- Significant expertise in real estate law.
- Extensive experience in knowledge management, precedent drafting, document automation, AI integration, and strategic research within a professional services environment.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and navigate complex challenges.
