Job Description
- Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, data transfer agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Manage and assist with legal claims, liaising with insurers and external counsel.
- Conduct legal research and respond to day-to-day legal queries.
- Support on compliance, contract law, IP, data protection, employment law, and more.
- Represent the Legal Team in cross-functional projects and meetings.
- Draft and update internal policies, procedures, and templates.
- Assist with the implementation and training for a new contract management system.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Support legal operations including document execution and approval workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
- Law graduate with LPC or SQE (or equivalent legal qualifications).
- Proven experience as a paralegal, with full cycle commercial contracts exposure.
- Previous in-house legal experience (desirable).
- High attention to detail and strong drafting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Interest in healthcare and the work of a hospital and charity.
- Professional, organised, self-motivated, with a high level of discretion and integrity.
