Job Description
- Support procurement and contracting processes, including drafting and reviewing third-party contracts.
- Assist with contractual documentation involving government agreements and member organisations.
- Provide legal support for risk mitigation projects and special initiatives.
- Research and advise on legal matters affecting the organisation (competition, public law, IP, regulatory, etc.).
- Identify and manage legal risks and coordinate financial crime prevention activities.
- Attend internal/external meetings and deputise for the General Counsel when required.
The Successful Applicant
- Essential: Qualified solicitor in England & Wales. Experience in a leading law firm, commercial insurer/reinsurer, or government department. Strong understanding of contract law. Excellent drafting and communication skills. Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Desirable: Knowledge of insurance legal and regulatory landscape.
