Job Description
- Financial Close & Reporting
- Drive a robust and analytical approach to monthly and year-end close processes.
- Improve the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of entity-level and consolidated reporting.
- Ensure consistency of accounting policies and reporting standards across the group.
- ERP Implementation & Systems Ownership
- Act as the finance lead for the implementation of a new ERP system.
- Manage data migration activities, ensuring integrity, completeness, and accuracy.
- Design and establish new finance processes and controls within the ERP environment.
- Oversee third-party system administrators and manage interactions effectively.
- Champion ERP adoption, providing training and support to colleagues to maximize system benefits.
- Management Information & Automation
- Lead the development of automated, insightful reporting tools.
- Deliver integrated reporting across multiple business units, including investments, real estate, automotive, and operational activities.
- Enhance analytical capabilities to support decision-making at both group and entity levels.
- Audit, Statutory & Regulatory Support
- Support statutory audits across multiple entities.
- Assist with external reporting requirements, including regulatory filings and tax-related reporting.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in financial reporting and ERP implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
