Job Description

You will support the business on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with HR and senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on employment law issues across the employee lifecycle, including policies, grievances, disciplinaries, and settlement agreements.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance, including SMCR and conduct requirements.
  • Providing guidance on TUPE and employment-related aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Managing international employment projects and liaising with external counsel.
  • Advising on compensation arrangements, including malus, clawback, and deferred remuneration.
  • Delivering training and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

What We are Looking For:

  • UK-qualified lawyer with strong technical employment law experience.
  • NQ - 5 years' PQE, gained in private practice and/or in-house.
  • Experience in financial services, technology, or other regulated environments preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-moving business.
