My client is a public affairs/comms agency with a strong economics team producing evidence based research for clients. They are known for being experts in infrastructure, tech and FS.

Develop and implement comprehensive policy strategies aligned with industry standards and economic trends. Conduct in-depth analysis of regulatory developments and their potential impacts on the organisation. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure policies are effectively communicated and integrated. Engage with external stakeholders, including industry bodies and regulators, to represent the organisation's interests. Provide expert advice on policy and economic matters to senior leadership and other departments. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies, making recommendations for improvement. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on policy and economic initiatives for internal and external audiences. Stay updated on global and local economic trends impacting the media and agency industry.

A successful Director, Policy & Economics should have:

  • A strong background in policy development, ideally with experience of selling their work to private sector clients.
  • A solid understanding of economic principles and their application in policy-making.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and regulatory analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
