Join a collaborative team managing high-profile CRE transactions, working with high-profile clients and complex credit structures.
This role is with a well-established organisation within the financial services sector with a strong footprint across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This is a full-time and permanent role based in London. Please note this client is not in a position to provide sponsorship so please only apply if you have full working rights for the UK in place.
In brief the role covers:
- Drive the credit process autonomously from initial assessment to final approval.
- Prepare and review credit applications and financial analyses using systems such as Moody's.
- Attend client and analyst meetings to support relationship managers and provide informed credit insights.
- Monitor credit quality and portfolio performance, reporting to risk forums and committees.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including legal advisors, to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and support data integrity across credit documentation systems.
To be considered we will need to see experience across CRE including the likes of PB Student Accommodation, Hotels, Office Blocks, Data Centres etc., and this team are looking at ticket sizes that are traditionally between £50mn - £100mn. As a CRE Credit Manager you should have:
- Experience in evaluating commercial real estate credit applications and portfolios.
- Degree in a relevant subject or professional qualifications such as ACT, MRICS, or CFA preferred.
- Solid understanding of banking credit risk models, particularly in commercial real estate.
- Experience with systems like Bloomberg, Moody's Risk Analyst, and KMV.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to team success.
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally we are looking for candidates who are immediately available or who are on a 1 month notice period.
