The business is renowned in the training, education and accreditation within the financial services industry. They are looking to hire a Content Marketing Lead to join their team in London. This person will be responsible for the Content Marketing Strategy and delivery across all channels with the objective of driving leads and membership.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities of the Content Marketing Lead:
- Content Strategy, Creation & Promotion: Work with leadership to align strategy with goals and maximize reach and engagement. Develop and implement a multi-channel content strategy and promotion calendar. Create content including web, video, infographics, testimonials, collateral, and podcasts. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce thought leadership content.
- Website & SEO/GEO: Optimize the brand's website content for improved user experience and engagement. Ensure search visibility across web and AI platforms. Create content for digital PR to support link-building in coordination with the SEO agency.
- Social Media & YouTube: Create, publish, and promote content across social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook). Develop and execute YouTube content strategy (including publishing and optimizing videos).
- Event Calendar & Speaker Sourcing: Create the events calendar, ensuring strategic alignment with marketing initiatives. Source and secure compelling speakers for events and podcasts.
- Community Engagement: Grow and manage online communities through engaging content and influencer outreach. Handle member and community queries and feedback, fostering active participation.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on campaign performance, reach, audience growth, and engagement. Analyze metrics across channels to optimize content and guide content strategy.
The Successful Applicant:
The successful candidate for the Content Marketing Lead:
- If you hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- If you have 5+ years' experience in digital marketing and content creation (ideally within finance or education, with a commercial focus).
- If you possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- If you are skilled in crafting compelling narratives and developing thought leadership content.
- If you have expertise in multi-channel digital marketing strategies (social media, email, web, search).
- If you are proficient in managing social media channels and using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
