Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with a Partner, assisting on a broad range of property transactions, predominantly residential with exposure to commercial property matters. Responsibilities include managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages and refinances, buy-to-let transactions (including company matters), drafting and filing SDLT returns, preparing reports on title and mortgage, handling pre-contract enquiries, drafting lender documentation, and managing registrations with the Land Registry and Companies House. The role requires the ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and client service.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have 12-18 months' experience as a residential property paralegal and be educated to degree level, with completion of the LPC or SQE 1. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude, strong IT skills, and a genuine desire to learn and progress within property law are essential. Experience in commercial property is advantageous but not required, as training will be provided.
