Job Description
- Advise borrowers, sponsors, and financial institutions on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions, including cross-border deals.
- Draft and negotiate loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documents, and other finance-related documentation.
- Support private equity clients on financing aspects of M&A and buyout transactions.
- Assist in structuring complex debt arrangements, including bespoke financing solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas including corporate, real estate, and restructuring.
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Stay abreast of market developments and regulatory changes impacting the leveraged finance space.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction).
- Post-qualification experience in banking & finance, with a strong emphasis on leveraged finance.
- Experience acting for borrowers and/or lenders in acquisition finance transactions.
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
