Job Description
As a Transactions Analyst, you will support the execution of large-scale energy-related asset finance transactions, typically valued between £100m and £500m. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with financial modelling, credit analysis, and due diligence
- Preparing term sheets, pitch decks, and transaction documentation
- Coordinating internal approvals and post-close monitoring
- Conducting market research and asset valuations
- Liaising with legal, risk, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal execution
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate asset performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Monitor market trends and developments within the energy sector
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years' experience in structured finance, corporate banking, credit, or asset finance
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
- Understanding of lease structures and credit analysis is advantageous
- Progress toward CFA, ACA, or ACT is a plus
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills
