Job Description
- Advise clients on a wide range of tax matters, including fund tax, international tax, UK corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, and other issues relevant to the Wealth and Asset Management sector.
- Manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for tax queries and compliance matters.
- Support junior team members, reviewing work and providing guidance where needed.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and assist with advisory projects (e.g. restructuring, remuneration planning, R&D, capital gains, inheritance tax).
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling correspondence and resolving queries efficiently.
The Successful Applicant
- Studying towards or qualified in ACA / ACCA / ATT / CTA (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in tax compliance within a UK accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing and reviewing a wide range of personal and corporate tax returns.
- Strong technical grounding, with an interest in developing further into advisory and planning work.
- Excellent communication and client management skills with a proactive, professional approach.
- Either a dedicated Tax Senior or a mixed accounts / tax background with a clear desire to specialise in tax.
