Job Description
The Legal Counsel - Construction & Commercial will be:
- Providing pragmatic legal advice on global consultancy and construction projects.
- Reviewing, negotiating, and finalising consultancy, sub-consultancy, and collateral agreements.
- Advising on governance processes and managing risk across contracts.
- Supporting stakeholders with contract administration throughout project lifecycles.
- Delivering legal training to promote awareness of key legal and commercial risks.
- Improving systems and processes within the Legal & Commercial function.
- Collaborating with project and business leads to close out negotiations and guide delivery.
- Working cross-functionally to align legal strategy with commercial objectives.
The Successful Applicant
The Legal Counsel - Construction & Commercial should be:
- A solicitor or equivalent with 2-5 years' PQE.
- Experienced in non-contentious construction law.
- Confident negotiating and drafting consultancy-related contracts.
- Commercially aware with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
