The Inquests Solicitor will be:

  • Managing a varied caseload of advisory and litigation matters in the inquests / regulatory space
  • Representing clients at inquests, Court of Protection hearings and Tribunals
  • Handling all stages of case strategy, preparation, and advocacy
  • Providing excellent client care and building client relationships
  • Getting involved in business development and team growth
  • Supervising and mentoring more junior team members
  • Assisting with operational and strategic initiatives within the team
  • Keeping abreast of legal developments in inquests, public law and regulatory matters

The Inquests Solicitor should be / have:

  • A solicitor ideally with 7 years plus PQE
  • Experienced in inquests, public law litigation, regulatory work or related areas
  • Skilled in advocacy and courtroom practice
  • Strong in client engagement, drafting, negotiation and strategy
  • Able to manage and prioritise a demanding caseload
  • Comfortable supervising more junior staff
  • Business minded with interest in business development
