Michael Page Finance is partnering with a leading global consumer services business to recruit a Group Reporting Accountant into their Group Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile, growing organisation with an international footprint and a people-focused culture.
Job Description
- Lead IFRS group reporting, consolidation & statutory accounts.
- Partner with auditors & stakeholders while driving process improvements.
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with company policies and regulations.
- Support the annual Group audit, responding to auditor queries.
- Prepare Group consolidation adjustments and consolidated balance sheets.
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts for UK entities and support consolidated accounts.
- Provide support on IFRS matters, including IFRS 16 leases.
- Assist with cost accounting and forecasting alongside the Finance Business Partner.
- Perform internal audit work to ensure strong balance sheet controls.
- Support ad-hoc projects for the Group Reporting Director and CFO.
The Successful Applicant
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g. ACA, ACCA).
- Strong audit experience, ideally Big 4 trained.
- Proven experience preparing or auditing IFRS financial statements.
- Detailed knowledge of IFRS 16.
- Strong Excel and technical accounting skills.
- Comfortable in a multinational environment, liaising with auditors and advisors.
- Hands-on, proactive, resilient, and detail-focused.
