Job Description
- Lead and develop the Cash & Funding Operations teams, creating a high-performance culture focused on accountability, quality, customer service and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all funding, cash allocation, reconciliation and associated transactional finance activities are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed service levels.
- Drive process standardisation, automation and operational excellence to improve efficiency, reduce risk and support business growth.
- Protect Zenith's cash position and financial integrity through robust controls, timely reconciliations and effective issue resolution.
- Deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with governance, audit and reporting requirements.
The Successful Applicant
- Significant experience leading operational finance, cash management, funding operations or shared services teams
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and talent development
- Strong understanding of cash allocation, reconciliation processes, bank transactions and financial controls
- Strong understanding of funding operations and high-volume transactional processing
- Experience managing operational KPIs, quality measures and service levels
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience identifying and delivering process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience working within regulated, control-focused finance environments
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
What's on Offer
- Salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position based in Yorkshire.
