About Our Client
Our client are market leading within their field & are currently going through an exciting period of growth! They are looking for a CAPEX Procurement Manager to join their team on a FTC basis, working 1 day per week in Leeds.
Job Description
As Capex Procurement Manager, you will report into the Head of Procurement, duties will include, however, not be limited to;
- Manage capital expenditure procurement activity for projects across the business.
- Source goods and services needed for capital projects, keeping requirements clear and well organised.
- Work with Procurement & Supply Chain colleagues to plan purchasing activity and support project delivery.
- Engage with suppliers to obtain suitable options for capital requirements.
- Review supplier proposals and support purchasing decisions for capital expenditure.
- Maintain clear procurement records to support accurate project purchasing.
- Track procurement activity against project needs and address issues as they arise.
- Provide clear updates on capital procurement activity to relevant stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Capex Procurement Manager should have:
- Experience managing procurement activity for capital expenditure projects.
- Ability to source goods and services for business requirements.
- Experience working with suppliers and reviewing supplier proposals.
- Knowledge of procurement processes within Procurement & Supply Chain.
- Be able to start work on a reduced notice period.
