Job Description
As an Audit Senior, you will:
- Plan, carry out and complete audit assignments for a range of clients.
- Review financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Identify and address any issues or discrepancies during audits.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members during audit processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates.
- Identifying key audit findings and discussing recommendations with management.
- Work closely with Managers to ensure a seamless, high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated with changes in audit regulations and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Senior should have:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or approaching qualification.
- Experience working within an accountancy practice audit environment.
- Strong understanding of UK audit and accounting principles.
- Ability to manage audit assignments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is advantageous.
What's on Offer
- Salary of £36,000 to £44,000, dependent on the level of experience.
