Job Description
- Lead end-to-end procurement activity from strategy through to contract award
- Develop procurement strategies and routes to market
- Manage tender processes, evaluations and supplier negotiations
- Draft procurement documentation, governance papers and contract schedules
- Provide commercial advice to business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and governance requirements
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support high-value and strategically important procurement programmes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Commercial Manager should have:
- Strong public sector procurement experience
- Proven end-to-end procurement and sourcing expertise
- Experience managing complex tenders and stakeholder groups
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of procurement governance and approval processes
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities
What's on Offer
- Temporary Interim Commercial Manager contract.
- Daily rate of £530 per day, dependent on the level of experience.
- Location: London (in and around London) with 2/3 days on-site.
