Job Description

The Divisional Legal Manager will be:

  • Leading and developing a pre-existing in-house legal team supporting development projects.
  • Overseeing transactional property development matters including land acquisition and disposals.
  • Providing strategic legal advice to senior stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Managing external legal advisers and controlling legal risk across projects.
  • Supporting business growth by ensuring efficient and commercially focused legal processes.

The Successful Applicant

The Divisional Legal Manager should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with significant property development experience.
  • Experienced in managing legal teams.
  • Strong in transactional property work, including infrastructure agreements and site set ups.
  • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to operate at a strategic level while maintaining technical excellence.
