Overview

PageGroup are excited to be partnering with this highly successful, global logistics organisation based in Coleshill with the appointment of a HR Manager to oversee all operational and strategic People matters. Due to the nature of this sector, the role will be fully-office based. Our client is an extremely well-regarded business with a superb culture.

Responsibilities

  • As a stand-alone HR Manager, you will act as a subject matter expert, partnering with leadership to provide generalist operational and strategic guidance on all people matters at this multi-site organisation.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company overall business plan.
  • Partner with leadership and management to provide commercially focused guidance on all people matters.
  • Support management to deal with complex employee relations cases.
  • Up-skill managers to deal with people matters autonomously and effectively.
  • Develop and implement people development programmes.
  • Oversee the recruitment, on-boarding, and training processes for new employees.
  • Coordinate performance management processes and appraisals.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies and procedures - ensuring all people practices comply with current legislation.
  • Oversee and review benefits schemes.
  • Support the business to manage employee well-being and engagement.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement and development of HR service.

Qualifications

The Successful Applicant

Ideal applicants for this role will have a proven background in a similar HR role. Ideally you will have previously operated autonomously within a similar fast-paced sector.
