Job Description

  • Preparation of statutory company accounts for a range of owner-managed businesses
  • Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts
  • Bookkeeping duties using various cloud-based accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Liaising with clients to resolve queries and obtain required information
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to deadlines

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax requirements
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Knowledge of CCH Accounts Production preferred, but not essential
  • Practical experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage preferred
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with clients
  • AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
