Job Description
The role of Head of Procurement will be responsible for:
- Full strategic and operational responsibility for sourcing raw materials, packaging, technical components, contracted services, and energy.
- Identification, qualification, and selection of suitable suppliers domestically and internationally.
- Conducting price and contract negotiations while ensuring quality, reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
- Establishing, maintaining, and renegotiating framework agreements, including regular cost reviews.
- Building and managing a professional supplier management system, including performance evaluation and cost analysis.
- Close collaboration with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Finance to ensure material availability and compliance with quality standards.
- Building a high-performing procurement organization with future leadership responsibility for an international team.
- Developing and implementing a group-wide procurement strategy, consolidating demand across sites, and leveraging synergies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Procurement should have:
- Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management.
- Experience of sourcing raw materials (ingredients), packaging and indirects would be highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of financial services industry standards and regulations.
