Job Description

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of properties.
• Production and review of property income and expenditure reports.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Service charge accounting, including budgeting, reconciliations and year-end processes.
• Rent roll analysis and revenue reconciliations.
• Preparation of statutory and audit information as required.
• Liaising with property managers, asset managers and external stakeholders.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and processes.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Proven experience working as a Property Accountant.
• Strong understanding of property accounting principles, including service charge accounting.
• Experience managing property portfolios within a commercial, residential or mixed-use environment.
• Excellent month-end and management accounting skills.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large volumes of financial data.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines within an interim assignment.
