About Our Client

A dynamic and fast-paced group finance team is seeking an experienced and qualified interim Financial Accountant to provide critical support during a busy year-end period. This role offers the opportunity to work within a complex, multi-entity environment and contribute to the delivery of accurate financial reporting across a diverse international portfolio.

Job Description

  • Preparation of year-end financial statements across multiple entities.
  • Navigating and interpreting complex financial records, particularly from acquired businesses.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the group, including those with varying levels of English proficiency.
  • Working with large raw data sets and ensuring data integrity.
  • Supporting the Group Head of Finance and liaising with a small, close-knit team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in group finance and year-end reporting.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-moving environment with minimal supervision.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders across different cultures and seniority levels.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and thrives in a \”roll-up-your-sleeves\” culture.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
