Job Description
- Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
- Monitors, tracks and drives performance, seeking corrective action where required to ensure delivery of the business plan
- Acts as a key finance partner in support of the business unit head by developing and driving strategies that support long-term growth
- Creates and maintains strategic relationships with stakeholders outside of the business unit
- Lead and supervise the accounting team to maintain efficient operations.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
- Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent expertise.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a similar sector.
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or commercial environment
- Deep commercial understanding of the business model and value drivers
- Leadership skills to manage and develop a finance team.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
