Overview

Hybrid working position initially for 6 months. Working in a friendly, supportive team.

About Our Client: This small-sized organisation operates within the business services industry, focusing on delivering essential support to clients. They are committed to maintaining high standards within their Accounting & Finance department while fostering a professional and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Validate end to end financial data between internal and external providers, ensuring data accuracy
  • Implement and monitor data quality metrics, producing dashboards and tracking performance
  • Identify, escalate and track data anomalies or defects, facilitate root cause analysis and drive solutions across the teams
  • Design and maintain financial controls – reconciliation tools, validation tests and process checks aligned to contracts and financial compliance requirements
  • Support the development and implementation of a financial data assurance framework
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define assurance policies and embed a culture of \”assurance by design\”

Qualifications

  • A strong background in financial data analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using accounting and data analysis software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
  • Experience working within the Accounting & Finance sector.
  • A problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to tasks.
