    This not-for-profit organisation operates within the education sector and is based in Woking.

    Job Description

  • To check all invoices on receipt, reconcile delivery notes and statements, obtain authorisation, code invoices and process on SIMS/FMS
  • To process all supplier invoices/credit notes in a timeous manner, verify accuracy, approvals and account coding in accordance with financial procedures
  • To maintain supplier accounts
  • To initiate all payment runs via the Banker\’s Automated Clearing System (BACS)
  • To accurately file paid invoices
  • To issue remittances
  • To process staff expenses in accordance with procedures
  • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
