Job Description
- Oversee financial reporting processes for ongoing projects.
- Prepare project budgets and forecasts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor project costs and variances, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to optimise financial performance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks across projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Strong experience in project accounting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
