Job Description
- Lead and manage audit assignments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Review audit work and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify and communicate risk areas to clients and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support the team in technical accounting and auditing matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and expectations.
- Assist in the training and development of junior team members.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting throughout the audit process.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive client service.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:
- Professional qualifications in accounting (ACA, ACCA).
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in managing audit assignments from start to finish.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
What's on Offer
- Salary ranging from £50,000 to £57,000, dependent on the level of experience.
