Job Description
High profile role reporting to the Head of Group Reporting and will be responsible for coordinating the group's activities to ensure external reporting deadlines are met and the external audit is delivered in the most efficient way. The role will work closely with key stakeholders within Group Financial Control, Group Technical Accounting and the finance and business teams across each of the divisions, as well as with external auditors. You will have no direct reports however, a key requirement will be to influence and work across our divisions to improve deliverables and processes. The raison d'être for this role is to ensure the smooth running of processes through robust programme management and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group Financial Control team and the external Auditors. Finance are a true partner of the business, with a mission to prepare and provide trustworthy financial records, insights and counsel to support informed decision making on behalf of the divisions whilst driving for a no-surprise culture.
The Successful Applicant
ACA / ACCA, probably with a practice / audit route through qualification and exposure to PLC reporting. You might be a Manager in Audit looking for your first move from practice or perhaps you already have a couple of years under your belt in Industry and are looking for the next challenge. You will be comfortable influencing and supporting in a complex, international matrix structure, providing up to date technical accounting expertise with a solution driven mindset.
