Job Description
- Prepare and deliver year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders across multiple industries.
- Manage corporation tax computations and assist with personal tax returns where required.
- Review work prepared by junior team members, providing feedback, guidance, and mentoring to support their development.
- Take ownership of a growing client portfolio, acting as a key point of contact and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Prepare and review management accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping as needed to ensure comprehensive client support.
- Liaise directly with clients and HMRC, resolving queries efficiently and maintaining high standards of communication.
The Successful Applicant
- ACA / ACCA qualified with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience managing people and leading audits.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and assurance.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ambitious, proactive, and capable of working independently while supporting the wider team.
