Job Description
- Operate as a key part of the client service team for various clients, involving regular external liaison and internal collaboration to plan and execute work delivery.
- Provide high-quality corporation tax compliance services to clients.
- Handle queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC.
- Work closely with colleagues to offer technically accurate, clear, and concise tax advice on issues like loss relief, tax relief on interest, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, reorganisations, international tax, and transactions.
- Assist other departments to deliver quality services and identify tax risks and opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of the firm\’s capabilities and relevant economic factors.
- Build productive relationships with peers.
- Continuously improve skills, knowledge, and capabilities for client benefit and personal development.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members confidently.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform other duties within the scope of the role as requested by managers or partners.
The Successful Applicant
- ACA, CA, and/or CTA qualification.
- Experience in an accountancy practice with solid knowledge of corporate tax.
- Proven client handling and portfolio management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with specialist tax software is a plus.
