The client is a well-known specialist regional legal firm with offices across the North of England. They have a dedicated Charities team who work with a range of charities and social enterprises across the UK and they are now looking to recruit a Commercial lawyer to join their specialist team.
Job Description
- Advising charities and social business and enterprises on commercial contracts
- Drafting a range of contracts including sales and purchase, supply contracts, terms and conditions and partnership agreements
- Advising on grants and donations
- Being the key contact for large charities
- Supervising junior team members
- Working closely with the partners in the firm/team
The Successful Applicant
- A Solicitor with a background in charities or commercial
- An interest to work in the charities sector
- Likely to come from a law firm background or public sector background
- Likely to have around 5 years plus PQE
