Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all purchasing and procurement activities.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Optimise inventory levels and working capital.
- Oversee warehousing operations and stock accuracy.
- Improve supply chain systems, reporting and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the function.
- Lead and develop purchasing and warehouse teams.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance and Commercial stakeholders.

- Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, planning, inventory control and warehousing.
- Experience of supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical capability.
- Comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- Track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results.
- CIPS qualification advantageous but not essential.
