With continued investment and growth plans, the business is seeking to strengthen its leadership team by appointing an experienced Supply Chain Manager to support operational performance and future expansion.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all purchasing and procurement activities.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance.
  • Optimise inventory levels and working capital.
  • Oversee warehousing operations and stock accuracy.
  • Improve supply chain systems, reporting and KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the function.
  • Lead and develop purchasing and warehouse teams.
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance and Commercial stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager role within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, planning, inventory control and warehousing.
  • Experience of supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical capability.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results.
  • CIPS qualification advantageous but not essential.
