Job Description
Prepare the annual FSA UK budget and forecasts, at least quarterlyPrepare the monthly FSA UK management accounts, including:Actual resultsVariances against budget and forecastVariance analysis, with explanations and a summary of key areas of focusGuidance on future spending priorities Prepare cash flow forecasts to support operational and management decision-makingCalculate, prepare and submit P11Ds to HMRCPrepare and submit VAT returns to HMRCCalculate and pay quarterly Corporation Tax instalments to HMRC Prepare the year-end profit and loss account and balance sheetPrepare the statutory accounts Prepare the annual Corporation Tax returnLiaise with auditors and tax advisers prior to the submission of accountsOther Ad hoc tasks and day to day finance management
The Successful Applicant
Qualified accountant: CIMA, ACCA or ACA (ICAEW / ICAS)Able to work autonomously as the sole finance professional in the UK, with sound judgement on when to escapeComfortable switching between strategic reporting and hands-on transactional workPractical, well-organised approach; able to manage competing deadlinesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAble to handle a growing volume of transactional work efficiently, and to improve processesClear communicator, able to present financial information to non-finance colleaguesAdvanced Excel and confident with cloud accounting software
