Due to strong demand from retailer partners, they are seeking to add a Product Specialist to the team.

Job Description

  1. Ownership of the product Development Critical Path Management with Product Coordinator
  2. Ensuring product critical paths and weekly workloads are on track to achieve deadlines
  3. Working in conjunction with Sales and Design to prepare for customer meetings
  4. Order Critical Path Management: Monitoring Order Critical Path with Merch/Product Coordinator to ensure intake dates are met
  5. Product & Range Development: Reacting & completing Sales Team Briefs in the required time frame
  6. Collaborating with design on products and packaging
  7. Negotiating the best cost price to achieve department margin targets
  8. Establishing and maintaining good relationships with existing and potential suppliers
  9. Conducting competitor shopping & applying knowledge of the current marketplace and trends to assist in product development
  10. Attending trade shows for inspiration and sourcing new products/suppliers; participating in kick-off and category meetings

The Successful Applicant

  1. Currently in a Buying, Product Management, Product Developer role or similar
  2. Experience working with and developing own brand / white label products
  3. Experience working with imported goods from the Far East
