Job Description

  • Primary focus areas will include:
  • Upgrade of Sentinel workspace environment
  • Optimisation of Sentinel instances across the organisations estate
  • Integration between Sentinel and Defender to the current MS best practice
  • Support the Delivery Lead with meeting the requirements of the Cyber Improvement Programme
  • Working with the other IT Operations teams to ensure minimal disruption through effective planning
  • Deliver and maintain the cyber elements that underpins programme delivery
  • Ensure tasks are prioritised and delivered in accordance with programme requirements.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise for the programme.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cyber Security Engineer should have:

  • Strong knowledge of cyber security principles and practices.
  • Experience with MS Defender and Sentinel
  • Experience working with IT systems and networks in a professional setting.
  • Familiarity with public sector security regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating security risks effectively.
