Job Description
- Primary focus areas will include:
- Upgrade of Sentinel workspace environment
- Optimisation of Sentinel instances across the organisations estate
- Integration between Sentinel and Defender to the current MS best practice
- Support the Delivery Lead with meeting the requirements of the Cyber Improvement Programme
- Working with the other IT Operations teams to ensure minimal disruption through effective planning
- Deliver and maintain the cyber elements that underpins programme delivery
- Ensure tasks are prioritised and delivered in accordance with programme requirements.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise for the programme.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Cyber Security Engineer should have:
- Strong knowledge of cyber security principles and practices.
- Experience with MS Defender and Sentinel
- Experience working with IT systems and networks in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with public sector security regulations and compliance requirements.
